Surely ABI do not understand the issue here correctly, or else they would not be saying it should have been logged on the PDI – they have attended the claims!
They came to fix issues that were logged, (Bedroom trim was dented on arrival, lounge carpet was short and did not reach the trim) both issues were accepted, and ABI have attended. In doing so have damaged the carpet trims. How can they now say they do not accept it. The photos you have been sent clearly show a before and after.
Surely ABI are not going to try and claim this has been done by the customer when their engineer has attended both claims?
I honestly can’t believe I am having to get involved over 2 carpet trims!
Hopefully, you can help in push this through to be sorted for me.

Emailed ABI again, i keep telling them that it was from the engineers visit
