swift have rejected this saying "With regards to your recent issue raised with our supplier Bankside on your behalf, They have advised the warranty period for a Fusion painted chassis is 3 years from the date of sale therefore this chassis is now out of warranty. On that basis they will not cover this under warranty.
Looking at Jira Bankside went out to this van Dec 2011/ jan 2012, so I have e-mailed swift back asking them to re look at this issue to see if bankside/ swift are willing to go out.

Swift have come back to me to say that Bankside will not look or cover this chassis.
" With reference to the above mentioned warranty claim, I have identified within our system that this chassis was manufactured in January 2011 and the date of purchase was March '11.

I will speak to Ade to see if we are able to go and loom at this chassis.

Looking into this case the van is a 2011 model which was delivered 25.03.11 by November 2011 they had reported that the chassis was already going rusty.
Bankside then attend to the issue in Dec 2011/ Jan 2012 so we feel that this should cover as this was an issue from the start.
Please can you escalate this issue higher to see if Bankside will go out to this van.

I have spoken to Lorraine and asked her to send the rejection to the site along with the fact sheet about fusion painted chassis, which does advise that maintenance is required on the chassis especially in coastal areas
