Michael has advised that would need a lot of stain to fill up the dipping machine. He has advised that we would need a sample of the cladding to get it matched by either Snows Timber or Brackfields. Once the timber is dipped and fitted it would then take an additional two days to put the top coat of paint on the unit.

I have gone through the information with Nigel, and he has advised that Steve has not given me enough information to compile the quote, I will need to send him back to the site to take of the corner capping to measure the depth of the wood and to get some photographs

Steve has finally advised that this is loglap 22 x 100
I have called Snows timber and they have advised that they will come back to me with a quotation later today. I have advised that if I am not around to leave a message on my answerphone.

Steve has advised that it will take 2 men 1 week to fit the timber
He is not sure how long it will take to dip the timber, but Bill Hibbs or Mark should know
I have been out to find Bill but he was still at lunch Bill Peters said that he would get him to call into the office

I have spoken to Bill Peters and he has advised that I need to allow about 40 mins for ever 30 lengths. I will allow 5 hours labour for this. There then needs to be a drying time. which will be a couple of days.

I have e-mailed MIB asking them to confirm the colour that they are currently painting the lodge so that we can try and match when we dip the wood.

If quote is accepted, it might be worth asking Pathfinder for a price for the timber. Just in case it works out cheaper

Kevin called he wanted to know what the cost would be to do extra treatment up to 5 coats - Also he said that he is already having the decking removed by another company.

I have reopened this issue as the park owners have reported that the cladding is weeping. Screen shot attached.

Engineer assesment has been returned and a copy of it has been attached. Awaiting a quote from Ade or Deb.

I have spoken with Steve and he has advise that the best thing would be to attend site when it get cold, scrape the wood and repaint. I will discuss this with Ade.
