      Warranty – Steven has a damaged panel in the shower cubicle as per the photo he has sent

      He is looking to learn what the quote is for a replacement part and fitting so he can let his insurance company know.

      We have a technician available on Thursday 17th August please let me know if this date works and the van will need to be empty for the day of repair and ideally the following day.

      Hello Rachel my name is Steven Lee we had a replacement shower cubicle panel fitted by SD through yourselves on 17 August 23. It is with regret that it has now begun to crack in the same place as the other one in less than 7 months. I am contacting you to arrange a no cost replacement as this one is not of merchantable quality please see attached photos , I would appreciate your soonest contact back. Regards Mr and Mrs S Lee.

      Thank you for your email and I’m very sorry you have had a bad experience with a service provided by ourselves and SD, I have looked into this repair that was carried out in August of last year and just wanted to explain a few points from the repair carried out as stated in the repair quote provided It was made clear that it would be a third party repair (SD) and no warranty would given with this style of cosmetic repair and not a shower panel replacement which you have stated in your email. I fully understand that nobody would expect this crack to reoccur in the time frame that it has but due to where it is and the movement put on this panel its very prone to cracking, so I would like to offer another visit from SD cosmetic as a goodwill gesture from us but we still wouldn’t be able be able to offer any further warranty and are unable to offer any other style of repair due to the age of the van. Please can you advise if this is something you would like to organize for you. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call or email me.

      I have spoken with this customer and have offered your revisit to them as a goodwill gesture from us which they would like to take up but I have also advised this will only be a 1 time offer due the area of damage. If you could arrange a technician to revisit that would be great and let me know a date so I can tell the customer that would be awesome thanks.
