Thetford have rejected:
The markings appear to be caused by some kind of corrosive material coming into contact with the appliances, for example a harsh cleaning substance perhaps? This cannot occur without external influences and as such is not deemed as manufacturing warranty.
Have emailed the customer to advise.

Sadly, I don’t agree with this comment from Thetford. No corrosive material has been used on the oven. Plus it’s been rarely used.
I will also add that a neighbouring new van has the exact same marks on there oven, so how do they explain this , that we have both used the same scourer ?
Hopefully you see my point . I will send over a pic of the other van and reference if needed when I’m back in October.
I have spoken to Steve who thinks its between the glass, he suggested we take the glass out to see if it does clean off - worksheet issed

STeve attended 14/10/2021 He removed the glass from the oven door cleaned, all dirt is on the glass making it look burnt marks all cleaned off looks like new
