          Vicky the owner has called to say that she is still waiting for a update on what is happening with this, as she has heard anything.
          I have now sent an e-mail to Swift stating the following:
           The customer has just called me to say that the supplier came out on the Monday 22nd July and looked at this issue, their engineer said that it nothing to do with the upholstery.
          He seemed to think that it looked like something was missing possibly the bearer?
          The suppliers engineer said that he would report this back to swift as they would need to send someone else out to this issue.
          This was on the 22nd July and they are no upset that this was reported back in May and we are now mid-way into Aug and they are now
          at the stage where they can’t even sit on the settee without it collapsing, they do have small children which is an issue of safety.
          I have attached some photo which show the wooden base which seems to be where the problem is.
          They have advised me that the site close down the end September and would like this resolved as a matter of urgency.
          Please can you look into this for me, I look forward to your reply

          I have advised Vicky the owner that once I get a reply I will call her back - no 01452 699502.

Sent a reply saying we had notification on 29.7.14 saying Belfield's would be rectifying this issue, and asking if they could clarify who will be coming out. Further email received saying provisional date for engineer visit w/c 29.9.14

          I had this come up on my task, so I can see that the above states that belfields are due to attend w/c 29.09.14,
          I have called the owner and spoke to her partner and advise them that this is a provisional date, he advise me that the site closes at the end of September.
          I have e-mailed Swift to confirm which date is correct as we have been told 29.09.14 and on swift it shows an engineer w/c 22.09.14

          Vickie the owner has sent an e-mail to Ade to say "Thank you for your e-mail. As I explained to Maureen on the phone yesterday, the problem is the date they have scheduled the work to be completed. Our park closes on the 30th September therefore due to school and work commitments the caravan will be winterised the weekend of 27th/28th September. This involves, as I am sure Swift are aware, leaving everything such as the seat cushions and pull-out bed in the lounge in a position in which they can have air moving freely around them throughout winter. I did explain on the phone that because of this an engineer will not be able to access the seat in order to complete the works.
          I am quite happy to contact Swift directly if this is easier.

          Just taken a call from Vickie, she is very upset as the Swift engineer went to her site last Monday, when her parents went to the van they found a note saying he had left 2 sheets of ply as he could not see any problem. He also moved the plastic storage box at the back of the van and there are now 2 dents in the rear panels which were not there before this visit. The van will now be closed up for winter, so the problems cannot be put right until next Mar/Apr. I have told her we will send a Surf Bay engineer when the van is re-opened to resolve her seat problem.
