I need to report an urgent problem with Mr & Mrs Roper’s van, Plot 18, ABI Ambleside 2022 – serial number 1575513, purchased 01.08.22.
They have arrived this evening and found a severe leak once again with their van. On your records you will see that during the later part of 2022 they had a severe water leak to the lounge with water pouring in through the front doors. This was eventually rectified with the ABI engineer having to seal all the doors as this had been missed on manufacture. They had a TV damaged which ABI would not accept and had to have sofa feet changed and 2 carpet changes. I was here when the engineer repaired the doors and he checked most of the windows too at the time and resealed some as they were not completely sealed either.
Tonight they have arrive to a sodden carpet in the lounge and badly soaked flooring on the right hand wall under the lounge window. Photos attached. It is definitely not the radiator so can only assume at this stage that water is ingressing somewhere possibly from the roof area as there is a water stain directly above on the ceiling.. Please can ABI deal with this as a matter of urgency. We will see if we can identify the issue in the daylight tomorrow when we can see more but the quantity of water inside was quite significant.
Mr and Mrs Roper have had a pretty shoddy time with a brand new Ambleside and it is really disappointing for them!
