Steve has advised that when he discussed this repair with the owner of the unit, he advised that the parts are not available any more, the customer is not happy to have alternative parts

Mrs Milward called to advise she has spoken to her insurance company and they are waiting for a break down of costs, she does not think the material costs sounds enough, she wants a decent carpet and understands how much that costs as she has had new carpets put in at home, she is also afraid none of the curtains and pelmets will match, on all her paperwork it states like for like

She said on the 27th June she was told that we would be sending carpet sample and she hasn't had them yet. She is at her van on wed this week and would like them by then. I have called Mrs Millard to say that the insurance company have now authorised us today to go out and do a temporary repair, I have advise her that it will be w/c 21.07.14.
I have also said that the supplier will be sending another lot of carpet sample out to us once we get them we can then get these send to her home address.
When the carpet samples come in we can then get them labelled up so we know what we have sent to her. etc

Had a phone call from Mrs Milward. She says she does not need the wardrobe to be taken apart and re-assembled with matching wood, as it is just the kickboard that needs to be replaced. Also, The wallboard in the bedroom does not need to be replaced as she has managed to clean off the mould and it is now OK.
Carpet and vinyl samples have arrived so I have sent them out to Mrs Milward for her to choose which ones she would like to be used in her van.

The main bathroom was re-vinyled apart from the extra skirting and door frames, the toilet and main bedroom carpet is still left to do

Val wants to now what work we are doing and what work has been authorised by the insurance company.. The reason she is asking is that this lady wants to sell her van and they have been in touch with a deal has quoted a price as it stands but they dont then want to be left with a van that needs more work etc. Hope that makes senses. I can see any notes on JIra re insurance and lower cost .. Spoke to Mrs Milward, she was rather disappointed as she had spoken to someone here last week who had told her the architraves were here and would have the casings put on them last Friday. I am waiting for a call from Katrina at Atlas to confirm the situation with the architraves at the moment. Mrs Milward has asked if we can give her a valuation on her van as she wishes to sell it.

Bathroom – Architraves on both doors are swollen with water- outside wall is damp – carpet is wet – doors wont close
Toilet Architraves on door is swollen – door will not close
Outside gutter pipe is misplaced – rear balcony side of the caravan
Panel outside bathroom – investigate why carpet is wet – outside wall is also damp – how is the water getting in
