Gary from Labram Bay has called to say that the owners have just let rip into him.
They have water coming in again, he said that its coming in to the sides of the sliding door from the UPVC.
Its coming in and water is going on the carpet/blinds etc.

The site have advised that swift are replacing the front windows, however, the triangle top window section on the front has moved and gaps have appeared, that the wind and water is now coming through

Swift are attending w/c 07-10-13 I have spoken to Gary to advise and said that we would let him know if swift give us the actual date they are attending.

Rea rang to advise that the swift engineer is on site, but Mr Fergusen will not let him carry out the repair. He has advised that he is going to reject the holiday home as not fit for purpose. I told Rea that I had not heard anything about this but would call Ladram to see what was going on.
I spoke to Gary on site and explained what was happening and asked him if he would pop up to the unit and see if he could establish whether the owner was really going to reject the unit or whether he just had an issue with the engineer. I advised that Swift had explained that they felt that they would be able to make a proper repair whilst on site.
Gary said he would go and find out what was going on and then he would get back to me.
I updated Rea, who advised she would ring me when she heard back from the engineer

The water is coming from behind the the barge board rather than the doors themselves. Andy the engineer has advised that it something that can be rectified

I spoke to Rea who advised that Darren and Clive will re-attend next week, she will see if she can get the date for me. They will fit new foam and do a proper job. Swift did not turn up as promised on 28th. Linda contacted Meri at Swift who advised that they didn't turn up because of the weather and that they thought someone would have rung us to advise.

Ladram Bay are very unhappy that Swift did not turn up or inform anyone that they weren't attending they have given Darren a bit of an ear bashing

Swift have responded that they never agreed with Darren to the visit being on Monday but w/c 28th. I had a couple of phone calls with Lisa last week each time she advised that they would attend on Monday weather permitting and I am sure that this would have been the case with the conversation with Darren, however, they were verbal conversations not e-mail

Andy has called and advised that he will be on site by mid day tomorrow, he has advised that he would have attended sooner but he hasnt got the barge boards which are being shipped down from Swift today. He advised that he should have been there on Monday however, the parts were not in stock and the weather was bad.

Rang Andy he advised that he is at Ladram and he is still working will ring back in about half an hour to confirm that the work is complete and that the customer is happy
