Susan Overy owner called asking what has been done in respect of her corroding door hinges, handles and rusting roof bolts. She understood that Nikki would be sending this to Swift but Nikki not got back to her yet. Advised her Nikki not working here now but will investigate and get back to her.

Located Rea's reply to Nikki's email. She basically queries why customer did not raise this with their engineer when he attended to another issue with the van recently. She says that "The build up of residue on the hinges is due to the sea air, the plastic on the roof sheet needs gluing back down, with regards the external flu without having this part back and sent to our supplier for them to investigate the cause of the paint peeling I cannot really pass comment".

Mrs Overy called back and had long conversation with both Mr and Mrs Overy on group call they explained there are other Swift Burgundy's on the park in far more exposed locations but are not suffering the same level of corrosion as theirs. They have had water ingress and a poorly fitted wall and Mr Overy has even had to reseal the roof once himself. Their concerns seem completely genuine and despite me offering to attend and stick the plastic roof sheet back down and fit replacement hinges and handles free of charge they would have to pay for the parts, they would prefer to see Swift return and resolve the problems with the roof as a priority. Agreed to resubmit it to Swift. Email sent to Rea.

Mrs Overy called asking if we had received a response from Swift. Checked and confirmed yes, advised her of the content of their reply, forwarded to customer and advised her if she wishes to pursue, she should write to Ade who will take to higher level at Swift.
