Darren has had his meeting with Ladram Bay they have confirmed that Mr Parker would like to take us up on his offer of a chassis treatment and a yearly check of the chassis, I have asked Darren if there is anything further he requires from the customer care department he has advised that he will organise for Bill Hibbs to attend

Mr Parker spoke to Claire at the park over the weekend, she advised she would speak to Darren and will email him, Mr Parker thinks his best option is to go with us using waxoil, he does not want the tetra put on his chassis as he is concerned the chassis will rust under the paint, advised i would speak to Darren

managed to get hold of Mr Parker, advised Bankside are sticking to the original offer, grind the rust of the chassis then re-paint it, he has made his mind up and will not allow this as after April his warranty runs out and he will be left with paint on the chassis which can not be removed, have advised on older vans we use wire wool to remove the rust then apply waxoil which has a rust killer in it, if he wanted this surf bay could offer to carry out the work as a goodwill gesture, he thinks Willerby should be sorting it as they supplied the van,

spoke to Mr Parker, he is not happy with the response as the company have advised him the only way it will work is to use rust killer, if they grind it off the paint will not work, he has also advised once this paint has been put on the chassis you can not paint anything over the top, tried to call Verina but she is not in the office,

Jo from Willerby has advised the customer has a Zimphos Chassis which has a 3 year guarantee with Bankside which was extended by 1 year after the re-paint with Hammerite last year, With Willerby Holiday Homes is is also covered for 3 years, if the chassis was to fail within 5 years they would cover but the warranty does not cover rust ( see screen shot)

Mr Parker called while i was on the phone to his wife, returned his call, explained Bankside would like to re-paint the chassis with a higher grade of paint but it will be black, he is willing to accept this if it sorts the problem out, advised we would send our engineer down over the winter to check the chassis, he appreciates us offering to do this, he wants information on the paint which i have said i will find out and email the information over to him.

I have spoken to Jo Ann, she has advised that she has received the photographs etc from Claire, and she is not happy with the response from Bankside, she is going to contact her and discuss the matter. Jo Ann and I discussed this and thought that the chassis should have some sort of additional treatment prior to them painting it. She is going to put this to Bankside.

Verina from Bankside has emailed to advise they are prepared to re-paint the affected areas of the chassis, they understand Mr Parker will not be in agreement to have this re-painted but under the terms of the warranty they have a duty of offer remedial work to rectify the problem, as the chassis can not be removed or replaced the only option available is to re-paint the structure which is what they are prepared to do until the end of the warranty period which is april 2015.

Mr Parker called wanting to know if i had heard anything, advised i did try yesterday but Bankside had not received the report back, contacted Verina again, she has now spoken to her engineer and he has advised there are some small rust patches on the chassis, she thinks the only solution is to go back down and re-paint the patches with hamerite paint,
Called Mr Parker back, he is not happy with this, is thinking of going to the solicitor for advise, the chassis has already been treated 3 times since he has had the van and does not want this to go on any longer, he is going down to the van next week and will take photo's which he will email across.

Verina called to advise she has someone in the area this week and would like them to go and have a look at the chassis, spoke to Mrs Parker, she has agreed to this but if not happy with the report she will get someone independent in
