        Alsion from Compass Insurance has called to see what is going on re the repairs, I have explained that the delay is due to the age of the van our supplier is unable to get the panels and is now trying to source alternative plastic for this repair.
        The supplier is currently trying to source samples so that we can get a good match.
        Alison said that she will feed this information back as the owner is unhappy/ assessor due to the time this is taking, she said that they might just decided to live with the damage.
        I have said that's that not a problem if they not willing to wait we can cancel this job, but if they can let us know ASAP so we can then cancel the job.
        So we are now waiting for them to let us know what the owner would like to do, don't order anything at this stage.

        Alison from compass has called me back to say that Mr & Mrs fuller are going to live with the van as it is now.
        She will email me confirmation over to confirm that they no longer want the repairs carried out.
        I will arrange for a refund of the excess to be sent out to them ASAP.

        I have raised a credit note no 462794 today, called Mrs fuller to get the card details so I can do the refund via card.
