Mrs Palfry has advised that her insurance company have refused the claim due to it being a seal that has gone.

I have asked Lorraine to contact a local glazier that we have used previously and get him to quote for the repair. I will then either invoice Mrs Palfrey at cost or agree to pay part of the amount

Our quote to Mrs Palfrey will be £190.00 plus vat at 20% Total =£228.00.
I will call her to advise her of the price. and also send a copy in the post to her.

I have called Mrs Palfrey on her home no 01548-811226 and advise her that it would come to a total of
£228.00 includes vat, and she thinks it alot of money.
She then said she thought that surf bay should pay for it as we sold the van to her.
Her van is 4 years old and I told her that most company will only cover the window for 3 years if the gas has gone. So no we wont be paying for it.
She then said that she knows someone else that fit windows so she will ask them.
I will close this off now.
