Description
Boiler door, lower cupboard door to the right hand side of oven and the 3 drawer fronts opposite cooker are delaminating.
Customer is Bob Thacker, doesn't have photos of the issues as they are difficult to get in the light.
Mr Thacker advised legal proceedings will begin if not received a satisfactory response by the end of the week, quoting CRA.
I advised that for CRA, the issue needs to be declared as inherently faulty, these doors have only started delaminating after 5+ years.
Have submitted to Swift to see what they say, will let Mr Thacker know of an update once received.

Swift Bordeaux No 031541H I have attached photographs of those doors that can be photographed to show the problem. Most of the doors do not show an obvious shadow line and so a photograph would not help. The following doors are affected Fridge – whole panel Freezer – panel rebate Right hand cooker upper – panel corners Over cooker – whole panel Left hand cooker upper – panel rebate Right hand sink upper – whole panel Over microwave – panel face Far right hand fire – panel rebate Right hand fire – whole panel Left hand fire - whole panel |
